How to Enable Slide to Shutdown on Windows 10

Hi guyss!!! I’m blissed out today, because I can see you again through this post. Hahahaaa..

Today, I want to share with you the way to enable SlidetoShutdown on Windows 10. What is “SlidetoShutdown”?

OK. Slide to Shutdown is just like an app or feature that can be used to slide a spotlight wallpaper so you can drag it down and your PC will shutdown automatically, thus you don’t need to shut your PC down by clicking on Start>Power. On the other hand, It makes your PC looking more different and modern, and last but not least, It's not a dime a dozen.

NB: This feature can also be used in Windows 10 and Windows 8/8.1.

OK. I will tell you the way to enable it. Just check this out!!!

First, right-click on your desktop,choose “New”, and then choose “Shortcut”

Then, type this in the box “C:\Windows\System32\SlideToShutDown.exe” (without quote) and then click “Next”.

After that, you can rename it as like as you want, but if you don’t want, just click “Finish”.

The shortcut is automatically created in your desktop.

If you want to change the icon of this shortcut, you can simply put your pointer to your app, and then right-click on the shortcut, and then click “Properties”, then you can click “Change Icon…”

If you see a notification that contains “….choose an icon from the list or specify a different file..”, you just click “OK”, and then you can choose whatever icons you like.
